Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Corinna Jackson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Oregon Health & Science University. As a part of her graduate studies, she completed a year-long therapy fellowship through OHSU’s Clinical Psychology PhD program. She has experience providing care as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric facility offering residential services and secure inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. She also holds a Bachelor of the Arts, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in Psychology from Reed College.
Corinna’s background in research and clinical practice led her to value person-centered, holistic care that is grounded in evidence-based medicine. She believes in partnering with patients and their families to understand their concerns and work collaboratively towards their goals. She works closely with patients to develop a treatment plan that may include medication, lifestyle changes, and therapy.
She sees primarily children, adolescents, young adults through 25, and their families providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy. As an athlete and coach, Corinna has a special interest in helping adolescents and young adults navigate athletics, mental health, and performance.
Corinna is a native Oregonian and loves to spend time with family and friends while outside running, hiking, skiing, or backpacking. She also loves to bake, cook, and explore the local food scene.
