Christy Sutton Hirsch, Psy.D.

Dr. Christy Sutton Hirsch completed her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Pacific University. Afterward, she continued her psychological studies at Pacific University and earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a sub-focus on culturally-informed and bilingual interventions. She moved to Colorado Springs, CO for her final internship where she continued working with children, teens, and adults in both therapy and psychological assessment capacities.

 

Dr. Sutton Hirsch’s clinical training and experience has spanned the spectrum of ages and mental health conditions with specific emphases on treating depression, anxiety, and trauma as well as working toward suicide prevention. She practices predominantly from a cognitive-behavioral framework and enjoys working with individuals and families. She loves to support the people she works with to develop and progress toward their unique mental health and life goals.

Dr. Sutton Hirsch is also experienced with psychological assessment across the lifespan. Working with individuals to better understand themselves, identify areas of strength and of growth and apply these findings to various aspects of their lives gives her great pleasure. She enjoys helping people find solutions to challenging aspects of their lives in a manner that helps life run more smoothly for them.
 

In her free time, Dr. Sutton Hirsch enjoys hiking, rock climbing, yoga, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
